Today, not only being Monday but March 1, I decided to write about March coming in like a lamb and going out like a lion.
When I was in elemantary school we marked the calendar on March 1st according to what the weather was like. Lamb for good weather, lion for bad weather. Today is most definately a lamb day.
Another memory I have about lambs is that my brothers raised them to take to the county fair in late Summer. The lambs, along with their mommas, were always finding holes in the fence and getting out. We lived across the street from the elementary school and sometimes this was quite entertaining to the students.
